Our history

Redemptorist missionaries continue the charism of Alfonso in the Church and in society. The Redeemer’s Congregation was the answer given to the call that St. Alfonso felt to address by Jesus through the poor.
In short it could be said that Redemptorists seek to continue the ideal of St. Alfonso in today’s world: to continue the life of Christ and his redemptive mission in the world. But it is necessary to deepen what is the ideal of S. Alfonso and how it is to be realized today.
Alfonso in all his actions and in all his writings is always based on his own experience. He does not and does not write anything that he himself has not experienced and experienced.
